Projection mapping, found objects, and sound installation; dimensions variable. Exhibited at Zhou B Art Center in Chicago, Gallery 215 in DeKalb IL, and Fielding Wright Art Gallery in Cleveland MS.
We all carry moments from the past that we long to revisit. Yearning began as one such moment, first captured as a drawing in my sketchbook. Through familiar household objects, sound, and projection mapping, I reconstructed this memory as a visual, auditory, and spatial experience. Rather than asking viewers to observe the work from a distance, I invite them to enter and inhabit the remembered moment, becoming an integral part of the installation itself.
