Daily Doodle #6
Mission Accomplished
Again, another sketchbook treasure. Really fast coloring process; about 30-40 minutes. A good warm up for the day.

This guy was swimming in my sketchbook for a while. I want to make him happy by coloring him! His friend will show up later. He is a weirdo!
New illustrations for my friend Aslı Eti’s article about Allen’s play Death at sanatkaravani.com. It’s from his best seller book Without Feathers, a collection of essays and two one act play. “Hope is the thing with feathers.” Emily Dickinson
The bridge drawing was so naughty. It was moving around, wasn’t stable at all. The story artist made a last move, and draw a valley both sides of the bridge. Now the bridge was trapped!!!
I am storyboarding my own project and when work for too long I start noticing faces in things, as many people do. I see them in switches, pipes, cracks on the walls, and windows. Sometimes I even see them in my drawings. When I finished this bridge drawing, I saw that scared, screaming face on it 🙂
I used Photoshop and my Wacom Cintiq tablet when working on this drawing.
A new baby, a new life. This cute foal is almost three weeks old. Even he had a surgery about 10 days ago, he is full of life. He is naughty, he wants to play with his mom. So he’s hanging on to life.
These illustrations for Aslı Eti’s article about Fyodor Dostoevsky‘s novel “Notes from Underground”. The article and the illustrations were published online (website: sanatkaravani.com.)
Jelena Ostapenko, who celebrated her 20th birthday after the semi final match, won her first Grand Slam at the French Open-Roland Garros 2017. I did this illustration of her on Photoshop in couple hours. I used watercolor brushes with several adjustments when needed. Please let me know if you like it or not. Thanks! : )
Story board is such a marvellous visual tool to tell a story. It is amazing conveying ideas, stories with cinematography and narrative staging, even without text.
Animation is a passion. It needs a lot of hard work, patience, love, and care.
